Jered Hunt is an experienced soccer coach with a National "D" License from the United States Soccer Foundation and an Accredited Interscholastic Coach certification. He is in his 9th season as an assistant coach for both the Men's and Women's Soccer teams here at Gateway.
In addition to his college coaching experience, he has served as the Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Dobson High School since 2019, where he has led the team to playoff appearances and improved their regular season record. He also has extensive club coaching experience, creating technical and tactical training curriculums for various teams at clubs like Arizona Soccer Club, Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club, and MSC United.
Coach Hunt has also worked as a College ID Soccer Staff member for Exact Sports, where he evaluates players and goalkeepers for collegiate placement. His playing experience includes time at Arizona Christian University and Scottsdale Community College, and he was honored as the Co-Coach of the Year for the East Valley Region in 2019-2020
